FTCC vs. Wake Tech CC (View More)

The Fayetteville Tech men saw their losing streak extend to 10 games on Thursday as they dropped an 88-80 decision at home to Wake Tech.

The game was played at Reid Ross Classical High School.
“They gave me a good 37 minutes but we hit a wall,” said FTCC coach Brian Hurd. “Wake Tech slipped by us and hit some free throws.”
Camryn Fort led the winners with 38 points, including three 3-point baskets and 10-of-14 free-throw shooting.
Trevor Lewis paced a balanced FTCC attack with 18 points. Cameron Grigsby had 15, Tristan Rodriguez 13 and Kei’juan Major 10.
FTCC, now 4-13, hasn’t tasted victory since before the Thanksgiving break. The team returns to the road Sunday for a 3 p.m. game at Bryant Stratton College.
The Trojan women begin a brutal stretch of games Saturday, playing four times in five days, with three of the games at home. Saturday they’ll be at Reid Ross for a game with Thomas Nelson College.
