FTCC vs. Wake Tech CC (View More)

RALEIGH – Trevor Lewis scored 31 points and Fayetteville Tech put up a strong second-half comeback that fell short in a 97-91 loss at Wake Tech on Tuesday.

FTCC coach Brian Hurd praised his team for the way it stepped up in the second half, outscoring Wake Tech 52-49..
He also commended Lewis for his offensive display that included four 3-point baskets. Also in double figures for FTCC were Kenny Walters with 18 and Kei’juan Major with 15.
Camryn Fort led FTCC and the game with 40.
The loss was a tough one for the Trojans as their overall record fell to 4-23. They return to Fayetteville on Thursday for their final home game of the regular season at 7 p.m. against Guilford Tech.
The FTCC women play again Saturday, their final game of regular season, at home at Reid Ross Classical High School at 3 p.m. against Louisburg.
