HAMPTON, Virginia – The Fayetteville Tech women ended a two-game losing streak and pulled back to the .500 mark for the season with a 71-41 road win against Thomas Nelson Community College on Saturday.

Amarilis Casiano-Floyd hit five 3-pointers for FTCC and finished with 24 points to lead the Lady Trojans. Monet Turnipseed scored 17 and Kylah Salon added 11.
Thomas Nelson was led by Moriah Pointer’s 18 points. Ka’Raun Hunter added 14.
The win improved FTCC to 8-8 for the season as it returns home Monday for a game with Wake Tech at Reid Ross Classical High School.
The Trojan men will be in action again on Wednesday, also at home, against Louisburg.
