FTCC vs. Pitt CC (View More)

WINTERVILLE – The Fayetteville Tech men enter their long holiday break riding an eight-game losing streak after falling to Pitt Community College 114-72.

The loss dropped FTCC to 4-11 while Pitt Community evened its record at 5-5.
The Trojans trailed by 16 points at halftime but still managed to get four players in double figures, led by 18 points each from Cameron Grigsby and Tristan Rodriguez.
Kei’juan Major had 16 points and Trevor Lewis 10.
Grigsby pulled down 10 rebounds and had five steals. Rodriguez had five rebounds and Major four steals.
Deonte Jones led five players in double figures for Pitt with 27. He had seven 3-point baskets.
The FTCC men return to action on Jan. 4 at home at Reid Ross Classical High School for a 7 p.m. game with Central Carolina. The FTCC women play their first game after the holidays on Jan. 5 at 7 p.m. at Cape Fear Community College.
